Printed on high quality paper with a robust and well-designed cover, this book makes a good first impression. It follows the fortunes of a sales executive, Sally Sales, who is charged with landing ‘the big one’ – a major account that will revive the ailing fortunes of her firm.

It can only be described as an adult read. A single-page ‘foreword’ establishes Sally as a sexual predator, and further characters are introduced by way of their sexual history. By page thirteen we have witnessed two more graphic encounters, and a penis measuring competition leads swiftly to a third. Though we may be treated to detailed descriptions of their genitalia, characters are not well developed. By and large they seem to have few interests besides sex – with alcohol coming a close second and work a poor third – and I found it hard to care what happened to any of them.

This is a well written book in the technical sense, but the plot is thin and seems to exist only to link the sex scenes. It wasn’t long before I started to feel that I was intruding on someone’s private sexual fantasy, and by the start of chapter three I was having bets with myself about how many pages it would be before the trousers came down again (two).

If you enjoy reading extremely graphic descriptions of increasingly bizarre sexual activity, this is the book for you – but don’t leave it where the kids or grandma can find it.
